Toltec™ Connector (2.x)
Clients with a valid
license for version 1 can update for free to version 2.x using the
license key already purchased.
Kolab-XML Format:
This format requires the Kolab 2 groupware server. The version enables
you to share date between Kolab XML enabled clients like the KDE
Kontact and the Horde Web Client.
Classic Format:
The Classic format allows sharing of groupware data Toltec enabled
Outlook mail clients. Where you only need to share data only between
Outlook clients, we recommend that you use the classic format as it
uses less storage space on the server and reduces some overhead on the
client machines.
Using the classic format, the Toltec Connector can be used with
Kolab 1.x and 2.x servers as well as a normal Cyrus server. For normal
Cyrus support you will need Cyrus version 2.x and up, SASL, CRAM-MD5 or
PLAIN and in the
imapd.conf disable altnamespace.
